I was riding by and noticed that there was a limo parked facing north on the bike lane. I rode up and took some photos to use for the site, then went to talk to the guy - he rolled up the window before I said a word.
I continued taking photos, then tried to call 311. They were closed, so I called 911, and said I wasn't sure if I should call or not, but gave the details and asked that the guy be ticketed or towed.
While I was standing there, a woman walked up from the North and crossed the street to talk to the limo driver, it appeared that he was scalping tickets from the bit that I overheard. They both laughed at me because I was saying something about them being there "We're here all the time" and then pointed out that there was another limo (short one this time) parked in the same lane and a bus and another car parked on the other side facing south.
I got the feeling that this was a fight I wasn't going to win, and decided to ride on, but not before taking a few more photos of the vehicles across the street. The second limo left right away, I didn't get a chance to get a photo of them.
I'm not sure if the police ever arrived or not.
